The clients wanted a space for family fun, and to host overnight friends and family. The second bedroom has a private entrance and also provides private home office and workout space. Clerestory glass and a continuous custom wood paneled ceiling connect the interior and exterior spaces. Designed by Shiloh Travis.
Rosedale Ave additon
-1550SF 2-story addition and renovation -
They loved the neighborhood and the feel of their little 1000-SF Rosedale cottage, but they needed more space for their growing family. We added a second floor master suite and kid's bed/bath, as well as a new first floor living, kitchen, dining niche', and covered back porch. Both from Texas, they felt most at home with traditional Texas bungalow styling. Designed by Shiloh Travis.
Sinclair Ave Casita

This little backyard home was created for the client's mother who moved on to the property to be closer to family. Both the mother and daughter responded to traditional styling, mixed with some more contemporary/modern details. The re-claimed materials used for the ceiling, loft railing, and stair parts were salvaged from the original 70+ year old garage that was removed to make room for the new casita.
