We had the priveledge of being the builder on this home originally built in 1917.  Prior to us beginning work, it had never been remodeled or updated.  All of the original interior and exterior finishes were intact.  Fortunately, the Owner shared our commitment to preserving the existing architecture as much as we could.  We added a rear addition for kitchen, laundry and covered porch.  We expanded and finished out the attic space for a 2nd floor master suite and 4th bedroom.  We also created a detached garage/workshop that is accessible from the rear alley.  We restored all of the existing exterior wood siding and trim, and ensured the additions carried forward with the same details.  We utlized re-claimed long leaf pine for all of the custom kitchen cabinets and stair parts.  All of the original long leaf pine floors were restored, as well as much of the original ship lap walls and ceilings.
