This half block redevelopment - along Waller St., between E 13th and E 14th - was one of our first projects in Austin back in 2006/2007.   The developer was committed to preserving the feel of this historic neighborhood.  We completed renovated and added- on to the period home at the corner of E. 13th and Waller, and built 5 other single family homes along Waller.  Each home design was inspired by different texas architectural styles, including craftsman bungalow, New Orleans row house, Texas victorian, and Texas colonial.  These homes were rated 4-stair with Austin Energy Green Building - their highest rating at the time.  We incorporated reclaimed antique pine flooring and stair parts in all of the homes.  Architectural design by Sentient Architecture.
